SIP Market Supervision Bureau (SIPMSB) has launched a special action soon after the Spring Festival holiday to urge enterprises to ensure safe use of special equipment such as elevators, cranes and large-scale recreation facilities.

In the first step, the bureau issued safety guidelines highlighting operational standards, hazard identification priorities and emergency response procedures concerning special equipment. Key manufacturers have received direct notifications emphasizing awareness of accident prevention.

Following that, training on safety management for special equipment was offered on Mar 3 to 664 special equipment supervisors and related executives from enterprises.

The action is still going on. In addition to urging enterprises to detect safety pitfalls and make rectifications, SIPMSB will further optimize its services to quicken its response to enterprises’ needs.
