A woman and a team from SIP received honors at the conference held in Beijing on the International Women’s Day (IWD) to celebrate women’s achievements in various fields.

Wang Yang, who works at Suzhou Aerospace Information Research Institute, was named a “March 8 Red Banner Pacesetter”. For over a decade, Wang has dedicated herself to geographic and cyberspace data analysis, focusing on overcoming key technological challenges in digital Earth. With the spirit of perseverance and innovation, she spares no effort to do her bit in building the country’s strength in science and technology.

The team of the Exit & Entry Administration Department of SIP Public Security Bureau received honor for its exemplary role in promoting progress in women’s performance in work. The team, formed in 2002, consists of 77 members, with female officers accounting for over 80%.
