Zhu Jiang, member of the CPC SIP Working Committee, deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee and director of the Publicity Department of the CPC SIP Working Committee, visited Jinji Lake Art Museum on Mar 3, when he viewed a bamboo-featured exhibition and offered guidance for the museum’s operation.

The “Xiao Bao’s World of Bamboo” exhibition showcases 58 ink painting and ceramic works by artist Wei Xiaobao, leading viewers to understand the cultural meaning of bamboo and savor the charm of innovative expression of traditional culture. The exhibition is enriched by traditional performances such as bamboo flute and guqin playing, pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect), and Kunqu opera.

During the visit, Zhu encouraged the museum to develop distinctive art projects and take art into communities and beyond to weave a comprehensive public cultural service network.
