Taiyo Cable (Suzhou) Co Ltd, a core production base of Japan-based Taiyo Cabletec Corporation, broke ground on its new project in SIP on Mar 11, aiming to expand its copper conductor plant by 6,902.86 square meters.

Located in SIP’s Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort, Taiyo Cable (Suzhou) is dedicated to developing and manufacturing high-end wires, cables and wiring harness products for clients engaged in industrial automation and robotics, electronic/electrical engineering and consumer electronics, new energy and electricity, water pumps, machine tools and other equipment.

The new project will comprise a three-storey manufacturing building and auxiliary facilities that will enable the company to significantly expand copper conductor output.

The local authorities are providing full support for the project to complete and come into operation as soon as possible.
