Dongyun Community in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district recently organized a series of events that enhanced local residents’ awareness of safety and sense of happiness.

In the event on Mar 9, a traffic police officer showed a video of traffic accidents to the participants and offered them tips for riding e-bikes safely, including always wearing a helmet and abiding by traffic rules. Each participant received a reflective stripe that can be applied on e-bike’s rear or side part to ensure visibility during nighttime e-biking.

Another event imparted knowledge on fire prevention to residents, increasing their awareness of preventing fire accidents caused by improper e-bike charging, sundry heaping in residential buildings’ passageways, and kitchen operations.

The community also hosted an event in collaboration with volunteers from a nearby subway station to tailor travel plans for local residents and collect their opinions on subway services. Pamphlets highlighting tourist attractions near subway stations and travel tips were distributed on site.
