Glanbia Nutritionals, a global leader in nutrition and supplement manufacturing, is building a new plant in SIP, expanding its footprint in the park.

Headquartered in Ireland, Glanbia Nutritionals focuses on research and production of science-based nutritional ingredients. Its products include proteins and customized nutrient premixes, which are applied in such fields as food and beverages, sports nutrition, and clinical nutrition. Its business network covers 130-plus countries and regions around the world.

The Glanbia Nutritionals (Suzhou) Co Ltd was established in SIP in 2006 as the Glanbia Nutritionals’ first manufacturing base in Asia. So far, this site has evolved into the group’s Asia-Pacific headquarters, integrating manufacturing, R&D, marketing, and procurement. It exports products to 14 countries across Asia and Europe.

According to Arnaud SCHUH, CEO of Health and Nutrition at Glanbia, the new plant will localize the production of Glanbia’s protein powders designed to support sports performance and ingredients for Monster energy drinks.
